The latest numbers show Annabelle somewhere around 22 pounds and nearing the 30 inch mark. She has become a little wiggle worm who no longer will sit where you set her and instead follows you around in her own version of crawling which is more like the army guy crawl. She definitely has that move mastered. She has also figured out how to go from being on her belly or her back to sitting up. She's still not saying any real words, but will talk up a storm in any combination of ga ba bo we wa (and the list goes on and on). She really appreciates when you have a conversation with her and answer her questions.
We also moved Annabelle up to the big kid car seat (yes, still in reverse). She seems to prefer it, but honestly would prefer not to be fastened in a seat at all since she always is on.the.move. Seriously, she's always going.
She prefers finger foods to baby foods (who wouldn't?!) and the exciting news of the month is that it appears she is NOT allergic to wheat or reacting to it in any way! The allergy test came back negative, and daycare accidentally gave her some food with wheat in it and she had NO problems whatsoever! Since then, we've experimented at home and again, no problems! I'm wondering if it might just be something in the Gerber Mixed Grain cereal that doesn't get along with her tummy...who knows! Annabelle also holds her own bottle and gets very frustrated if you try to hold it for her. She is one independent little chick - wonder who she gets that from.
Other news is that Annabelle is pulling herself up onto her knees. She is soo close to pulling up to standing but just not quite there yet. That's a-okay with me. She's really growing up too quickly for my tastes these days.
And the real reason you are checking out the blog...here are the birthday pictures:
Happy 10 month birthday! (notice how far away the cake is from Annabelle)
I LOVE sweet potatoes and chicken. The zucchini...ehh...
I can feed myself, just watch!
Ha! Told you so, got it into my mouth (mostly).
