Happy 8 Month Birthday, Annabelle!

So, our sweet little baby girl turned 8 months old a few weeks back. I'm a little slow at posting these days.  Over the past month there have been many changes for Annabelle.  She's still not crawling and still has no teeth, but she sure is reaching for everything she possibly can (notice the crumbs all over the chair - yes, she was quick this time!).  She is getting sooo big!  She loves to eat.  She is also getting a lot of hair.  It's definitely a blondish color - and her skin continues to be darker than mine - yay for Annabelle!

We also have been monitoring her head.  At her 6 month appointment, I pointed out the flatness of the back of her head to our pediatrician.  She recommended that we take her to a specialist for evaluation (think helmet - yuck!).  So we took her, they scanned her head and decided to monitor her for a month and see if it starts to improve.  Well, thankfully (for her head shape) she has started to roll over and sleep on her tummy.  Her head has improved!  We went for a follow-up appointment a few weeks ago and we all agreed that she does not need a helmet!  Even if her head doesn't end up perfectly round, it won't be noticeable with all of her hair - yay!!!
